Care Instructions
After intense practice, leave the mat unrolled to dry. It is best to wipe it with a cloth dampened with water. For more persistent dirt, you can add a drop of dish soap, lemon juice, or white vinegar to the water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Tips
Prolonged direct exposure to sunlight may accelerate the biodegradation process. The mat should be rolled with the printed side facing out. Applying greasy creams to the skin immediately before practice may cause streaks and stains to appear on the mat. These marks should gradually fade, especially after cleaning the mat a few times. However, it is recommended to avoid applying creams, lotions, or any other greasy skincare products before exercising.
Strong scent of a new mat
The strong scent of a new natural rubber mat can be bothersome, but it disappears over time. To speed up this process, you can keep the mat unrolled in a well-ventilated area near a window, but away from sunlight, during the first few weeks. A strong smell is characteristic of most natural rubber products and is not related to the oxidation of chemical substances, as none are used during production.
The product contains natural, biodegradable rubber. People with a rubber allergy should avoid contact with the mat.
